Discover your Museum – National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide – Cassano all’Ionio (Cosenza)

Prestigious recognition assigned to the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide (Cassano all’Ionio), directed by Dr. Adele Bonofiglio, belonging to the Polo Museale of Calabria, led by Dr.

Antonella Cucciniello.

In fact, it received the “green stamp” – a mark for the European Year of Cultural Heritage for the thematic map “Discover your museum“, a project carried out by the General Direction for Education and Research – Center for Educational Services of the Museum and the Territory in collaboration with the Educational services of the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide.

The thematic map shows the history of the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide, the exhibition itinerary and many possibilities to interact and learn about the assets held, as well as values ​​and norms (article 9 of the Constitution) for the protection of cultural heritage.

On the occasion of this recognition, the thematic map was reprinted in 500 copies with a donation from the publishing house “Il Coscile” and it will be distributed to young visitors.
